SCRATCH'S PATCH-UP FUND (“SPUF”)
Scratch's Patch-Up Fund is a program that supports care for catastrophic illness or injury of companion animal dogs and cats owned by people in desperate need. All SPUF recipients must meet income guidelines and be qualified. The process to approve a SPUF candidate may take up to 2 weeks, so is not typically suitable for emergency situations. Second Chance Fund for Animal Welfare shares information
about its programs and the benefits of spay/neuter services at various locations
throughout Worcester County. We also participate at major festivals each autumn,
including the Pet Rock Festival (www.petrockfest.com).
